On the way to the Idelva capital, Gran and the crew learn that there are few islands with the protection of a primal beast in Nalhegrande, leaving many countries powerless. They hear that the two largest kingdoms, Idelva Kingdom and Rhem Kingdom, are vying for control of the skydom.

Gran and the crew, along with Cain and Leona, have defeated the outlaws of Merkmal Island.

They make their way to the capital of Idelva Kingdom with the outlaws and their leader Reinhardtzar in tow.

Lyria

Reinhardtzar hasn't come to yet...

Leona

He used up a great deal of energy, but his life's not in danger. He should wake up when he gets his strength back.

Leona

But even if he starts moving around, he won't be free just yet...

Leona looks uneasy as she gazes up ahead in the direction of the airship's path.

Vyrn

By the way... could you tell us what the capital is like since we're headed there?

Cain

Hm? What it's like?
Oh! That's right. Because you're all from Phantagrande...

Katalina

Hm? Well, yes, we are from a different skydom...

Cain

Groz Island is a bit bigger than other islands, but other than that, it doesn't stand out.

And after hearing about the discord in the skydom, Lyria's expression turns woeful.

So everyone's fighting in Nalhegrande...

When I hear that, I just... don't get a good feeling about this place...

Lyria

Can't everyone live on their own like in Phantagrande?

Leona

Leona's expression also turns gloomy at Lyria's innocent inquiry.

After arriving at the palace with Gran and the crew, Cain pleads with the sovereign for leniency toward the outlaws they've captured. The sovereign gives them the task of subduing a raging primal beast in the cave of the West Forest, vowing to make a decision after they've returned.

Gran and the crew defeat the monsters in their path to Groz Island.

They finally land in Luxurios, the capital of Idelva Kingdom.

Lyria

Wow! This place feels a little different from the cities I've seen so far!

Lyria

Yep! I bet there are lots of new things to see here!

A primal beast has settled in a cave deep within a forest west of this place.

The primal beast is said to be frenzied. The people lament that the forest is too dangerous to enter.

Leona

The group follows a commotion to find Reinhardtzar attacking Idelva soldiers, but Cain assures him that his friends are unharmed, causing him to stand down. Reinhardtzar learns that he is needed to complete the sovereign's task, but it's Lyria and Cain who convince him to join in and help.

Gran and the crew are ordered by the sovereign of Idelva to defeat a primal beast and prove their might.

After leaving the throne room, Cain stands before them and bows his head in apology.

Cain

Sorry... I sincerely apologize. I asked you to trust me, but in the end I got you caught up in something troublesome...

Cain

Cain

Her Majesty should be well aware of all you did to help us on Merkmal, Gran.

Cain

On way to the West Forest, Leona watches Reinhardtzar. She reveals she heard bad rumors about his troop when they both served in Torhid's army. Reinhardtzar recognizes Leona as the fiancée of his old army friend Abel and asks about him. Cain explains that Abel, his older brother, has since died.

Gran and the crew are ordered by the sovereign of Idelva to defeat a primal beast and prove their might.

The morning after their audience with the ruler, they depart Luxurios together with Cain, Leona, and Reinhardtzar.

What kind of primal beast do you think lives in this forest cave?

Cain

Her Majesty didn't give too many details, did she?

Cain

But if it's holed up in a cave, then we probably won't be dealing with something big.

Katalina
