At dawn, Vyrn begins to be affected in the same way as Lyria, leading Tau'luk to conclude that Maxwell is attempting to eliminate Gran's status as the singularity. After Marinella reminisces about her daughters while tending to Lyria and Vyrn, Tau'luk calls out to her, seemingly uncomfortable.

At dawn of the following day, beside a sleeping Gran and Lyria, something is happening to take the situation from bad to worse.

The first to notice it is Katalina as she arrives to check on Lyria and the captain.

Vyrn

Huff... Puff...

Katalina

Vyrn!

Marinella

It's the same as with Lyria. There doesn't seem to be anything physically wrong with him, but he's clearly weak.

Marinella

Though you'll have to take my words with a grain of salt, since dragons are outside the realm of my expertise...

Having witnessed the exchange, Loki asks Mikaboshi if she's afraid of the changes within herself, to which Mikaboshi suggests that it's time for him to take the stage.

I failed. Because of me, so many have suffered... and the world is on the verge of ending...
